This is a relatively new technique where wrinkle relaxing treatments are used in the lower jaw and neck area to reduce the appearance of saggy jowls and stringy necks.
The muscle banding usually seen in thinner individuals can be unsightly, and treatment can smooth out the skin in the neck to make the neck area look more refined.
Jowling can be reduced as the angle between the neck and jawline can appear smoother and more prominent. Sometimes combination treatment is indicated where dermal filler is used to refine the results and make the jawline even stronger.
